 I have rescued dogs for many years. This past year I have found forever homes for 28 dogs. Please visit this page often to see available dogs in need of loving homes. I do not charge to place these dogs, I only insist that all my rescues get spayed or neutered. If a dog does not work out for your family, I ask that I am contacted before you give the dog up to someone else. In May of 2008, I found a dog on the side of the road that could not walk. He did not weight more than 40 pounds, very under weight for a dog that should be about 80. I struggled with the decision of having to put him down as I saw him get stronger everyday. About two months later when he was still recovering and had gained some weight, I took him to the vet to be neutered and x-ray his back. The vet called and said his back was broken, probably hit by a car, judging by the x-ray he should not be walking. Lobo has since made nearly a full recovery and has a forever home with me.
